We’re seeking a Sr Director, Sales Strategy & Enablement. Retail media is one of the fastest growing media platforms. The Mars Agency is a retail commerce partner that helps retailers monetize and connect brands to customers in a meaningful way.

Why do we need you?
Sales Enablement is primarily responsible for supporting the sales team with strategic client engagement and driving revenue. Working with an understanding of CPG clients’’ business in the convenience channel to develop campaign strategies that deliver on the clients’ needs (grow share, drive trial, increase velocity, drive brand preference, etc.
The successful candidate will be comfortable bridging our Retail partners’ business needs to deliver a comprehensive solution strategy to brand clients. Solutions will span the retailer offering included (but not limited to); retail media, loyalty programs, shopper marketing initiatives, research efforts, test-and-learn, etc.
What will you do?
Drive sales for a national Retail Media Network in partnership with the sales team. Support strategic approach for key brands who sell in convenience stores (Pepsi, Coke, RedBull, etc.) as well as individual campaigns. You will work closely with sales to identify opportunities, sales blockers, needs, etc. and responsible for providing solutions and support to drive revenue.
- Supporting sales with positioning, messaging and materials for the RMN
- Develop data-driven category insights to help sales in market
- Identify sales blockers and opportunities based on market feedback and drive internal initiatives to solve for the needs
- Lead strategic meetings with clients (Retail vendors & merchants, e-comm team) and internal teams (Product, Measurement, Yield, Leadership, etc)
- Use analytics to build and present client reports to clients on key business metrics (dollar sales, unit sales, trips, new buyers, velocity, switchers, etc.)
- Become the subject matter expert (SME) for the Retailer offerings
- Monitor and improve internal processes and client deliverables
- Build proactive package solutions for key categories and priority brands
- Coordinate and participate in strategic client business reviews
What are we looking for?
- 10-15 years’ experience in a similar role with increasing responsibility
- Experience in display advertising media planning, ad operations or sales is an asset
- Ability to analyze data, develop clear and concise insights and build recommendations from those insights
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Business writing and presentation development
- Client facing client management and meeting planning experience
- A positive attitude and strong initiative
- Ability to work well with others
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability in managing multiple tasks

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
